Really we’re asking the big questions: what is the world really like? Where are we headed? And how should we live in response? The four kinds of Christmas are four approaches to life, and as we go through them I’d love you to be thinking: which am I? Which do I want to be? And what is the best approach to the darkness?

Growing up your family always had am Advent wreath and a Nativity Set. Do you as a young adult? Take some time to prepare your own house or room for the season with these items! You can't image your home without a Christmas Tree in December! Make these a part of your tradition as well. As a family member if there is an extra in the family you could have, or buy one online, fairly cheaply. Bring some light in the darkness with candles, and remind yourself of the stable with a new Nativity set.
