This month we challenge our households to help with making sleeping mats for the homeless using the plastic grocery bags that you have at home. There are many ways to help out, the first being to make "plarn" or plastic yarn. Anyone of any age can do that! Secondly, if you are up to the challenge, you can make the mats yourself using crochet. If your household is only able to make "plarn," we have a wonderful group of women in the parish who have agreed to finish the mats for you. Do what you can, and make a big difference to someone in need, while keeping our planet clean. Thanks for your support! This first video shows the whole process:
