Renewal of baptismal promises
Praying with your Baptismal promises is great for all Catholics, but it can be particularly meaningful to those preparing for the Sacrament of Confirmation. During the rite of Confirmation, candidates are ask to publicly declare these promises that they made, or were made for them at their Baptism. Praying with your Baptismal Promises is a great way to prepare to enter more fully into this Sacrament.
If you are praying alone, you can use the video and say the responses of "I do". If you are praying as a family, have parents lead and young people respond. To further remind us of our Baptism us holy water (can be taken from the font at church, or blessed by a priest) as you sign yourself at the beginning and end of prayer.

As family, share about your collective experiences of Baptism and Confirmation. Parents, share with your young person about their Baptism including pictures or videos. Talk about who was there and what it meant to you. Also share your own experience of Confirmation. Young people share your thoughts on the Baptisms you have been present at, and what you are looking forward to about Confirmation. This is a great topic to share with your sponsor as well. This is a great conversation for the whole family to reflect on their experiences with Sacraments!
